Current terms and conditions for Leah Jennings Photography. 

By booking and paying the deposit you agree to the following terms and conditions (please ensure you read the terms and conditions prior booking your session):

 

1. Session & Booking

Client agrees to book photography services provided by Leah Jennings Photography for the agreed session type, date, and location as confirmed in writing. A session is not officially reserved until:

  • The Booking form/contract is signed, and

  • The required retainer is paid.

2. Retainer & Payment

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the session date/time. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

Payment is to be made in cash. 

Failure to pay the remaining balance, The Photographer has the right withhold images until payment has been made.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Client may reschedule one time with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • Retainers are non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled date.

  • Photographer reserves the right to cancel due to emergency, illness, or unsafe conditions, in which case all payments will be refunded or rescheduled.

4. Session Conduct & Cooperation

Client understands that cooperation of children and participants cannot be guaranteed. Photographer is not responsible for lack of images due to:

  • Child behavior

  • Late arrivals

  • Missed participation

5. Editing & Artistic Style

Client acknowledges they are familiar with Photographer’s portfolio and editing style. Photographer retains full creative control over image selection and editing. RAW/unedited images are not provided.

6. Image Delivery

Final images will be delivered via an online gallery (ShootProof) within 1 week of the session, unless otherwise stated. Gallery availability and download timelines will be specified at delivery.

Once client has chosen their favourite images, the photographer will then do the final edits to them and send them over via digital download.

7. Copyright & Usage

Photographer retains copyright to all images. Client is granted personal usage rights for printing and sharing. Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Model Release

Client gives permission for Leah Jennings Photography to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes. (you can opt out of this).

9. Liability/Client Responsibility & Safety

Client is responsible for the supervision and control of all children and participants during the session. Photographer is not responsible for supervising children or preventing accidents. Client assumes all risks related to participation in the photography session and releases Photographer from liability for injuries, accidents or damages that may occur during the session, except in cases of gross negligence.
